Where were you taught that PO's are better than anyone else? Of course they do stupid things, they are human. And I can say this because I was a cop for 12 years and I did some pretty dumb things sometimes. I made mistakes, said things I shouldn't on occasion jumped to conclusions. There is NO perfect cop, but their are good and bad ones. I'd like to think I was a good cop and tried to do what was right and just. I don't hate what cops do that is stupid anymore than I dislike what other people do that may be stupid. Just remember they are human and have faults, plus....there was only one perfect person in this world and we crucified him!!!

If people would quit being stupid - doesn't matter how old the 90 yr old woman was - she was dealing and she shot cops.
The guy in NY hit not only one police car but TWO and then probably refused to get out of his vehicle or something.
I think you do hate cops. Only people who have a reason to hate them (as you do) are the ones breaking the laws.

Seems to me Joe, you have a hidden agenda borne of a dislike for authority. Might want to think about that a little, see where the roots of your anger got started.
Let's see, they protect people from the thuggy scumbag element of society, they patrol all night so we can sleep and not have to stay awake watching our own neighborhoods, they are out on Christmas morning, New Years Eve & morning, when it's your birthday doing their jobs so you don't have to be bothered. Yes, I think you have authority issues. And no, I don't hate the stupid things they do, because they do far less stupid things than SOME of us.
