do guys like tall or short girls?

ok i dont understand. i really wanna know why i cant get a guy to like me! im 5 foot 7, straight long(ish) dirty blonde hair, skinny, 13 years old. i have never had a boyfriend. only one of my friends have and we all agree seh is the ugliest of us all. people tell me all the time i am really pretty but it seems hard to beleive since i cant get a boyfriend. i always hear that guys like short girls because they can pick them up and cuddle with them and feel more manly and stuff like that. it really bugs me. i dont like being tall. there is nothing good about it. i always get the "your really tall!" comments from people and im just like "Nooooo, way to go captain obvious!!!" short people are soooooooooooo lucky. i HATE being tall. i really need to know why i cant get a boyfriend. WHY DONT THEY LIKE TALL GIRLS?!?!?!

hey, dude. no way am i jealous of my friend who has the boyfriend. ok, searously i would actualy rather have my looks and not have a boyfriend, then have hers and have a boyfreind. yes, its that bad. i dont even think she's my freind anymore im not gonna go into detail, but she is REALLY buggin me (in a way that has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with her stupid boyfriend, hes too good for her anyways).

Hey hun look on the bright side someday you will have a six foot tall buff hottie to pick you up and cuddle you and he will be able to kick the @sses of all the idiots who rejected you. Just because you are 13 and dont have a man doesnt mean that guys dont like you and its not cuz you are tall either. Give yourself a year or two thats when things really start happeneing trust me. And as for your friend even if shes ugly made the guys like her cuz she easy. Young dude love that BUT dont sell yourself out and act like a whore to get a guy they will just use you and abuse you. Dont stress girl you have plenty of time to get a boy even if it doesnt feel that way now.

actually no, i'm a short guy and I love short girls. They are definitely the ones for me. Tall girls make me rather uncomfortable. Also I think tall guys who want a girl who is a foot shorter than them are just creepy and rather insecure too. If a guy cant be comfortable with someone who is already 4 inches shorter than him and a girl cant be comfortable with a guy who is already 4 inches taller than her then these people have serious issues.

Why do you hate being tall?
Well, I'm 5 feet 9 and 16 this year. It doesn't help me to get any guys back at my school but it appeals to most guys out there.
I always get the "You're really tall and I wish to be as tall as you" comments. Who doesn't love to be tall? Think positive, models are tall. Daria Werbowy (Sorry for mistake in spelling) doesn't strut her stuff on the runway with a petite frame and trust me, tall people get their way in clothes.
In South East Asia, people are dying to be tall. No one wants to be short because if you're short, you need to be as skinny as Victoria Beckham to make you look tall.
Different guys have different tastes. Maybe at the age range of yours, guys like short girls but guys who are around 20 to 30, amazingly like tall girls. So don't worry.
And oh yeah, looks don't count that much really. In a relationship, it's the heart that counts the most.
Being tall doesn't mean you can't get a boyfriend. I've been there as well.

It is always difficult to be different. People and specially young and new people really do not like to stick out and be different. Check out the girl with braces, advanced physical maturity or slow maturity. Check out the shy ones. The show offs and lame ducks. Anyone who fears they are different will be hyper-paranoid and ready to be insulted or looked down upon. So relax, there are plenty of tall guys out there for you.
Work on your personality. Smile, learn to smile genuinely. Put your worries to work perceiving what other people are going through. Be critical but not judgmental. Like everyone until they are obviously troubled, and then don't dismiss them entirely. People have more going for them than what is obvious, but frequently they are more afraid of you than the other way around.
Be ready for the day when you realize that most people look up to you figuratively speaking. They well say, "How can you be so together?" You can laugh at yourself at that time. I give you permission.

Well just a little comment before I answer your question, so you and your friends agreed that your friend (with the boyfriend) is the ugliest. Jealousy?

Anyways, I think it is proportional, if the guy is tall than he wouldn't mind. I just think that many guys wouldn't want their girlfriend taller than them. But, look at the bright side your only 13 and you have plenty of time to find a suitor.

You will soon find 5 7 not that tall, in a year or two the guys will shoot up and you will be the perfect height. I am 5 1 and its a pain, guys see a doll,not a woman. You will be happy of your height later

they don't pick short girls to be models or cheer leaders. You know why that is? Because tall skinny girls are gorgeous.
The other girls are just jealous. Right now you have out grown the boys in your class and they feel a little intimidated. when you get older those same boys will be taller and you won't be able to keep them away. 5' 7" or even 5'9" is really great.
Men like tall women why do you think women wear high heels?
Because it makes them more attractive. Just be patient your to young for boys right now anyway. Wait til your 18 and a super model. Marry a Doctor! that will show them.

Although I've no preference, I do know a very nice young lady, who is six foot four, and has no trouble getting dates, most of which are about six feet tall. If the man feels funny, or she thinks that he does, she'll wear flats. By the way this girl is what I'd call a "knock out."

you shouldn't hate being tall because not every guy likes a girl that they have to almost kneel down to give them a kiss. b happy the way you are!!! and also, you shouldn't rush in having to have a boyfriend. you're only 13 years old. take it slow and steady because you might get a guy because you're desperate and end up breaking your heart and TRUST ME that's worse than not having a boyfriend at all. take it slow and one day you're dream man will come and he would love you and accept you just the way you are.
