My friend was telling me of a flat iron that will curl your hair, instead of straighting it..do you know of the name, and where to get it from? how much it cost?

Straighting or straightening?

It would then be called a curling iron, and it isn't flat. Unless you mean a crimping iron, which is a flat iron with a special attachment that gives your hair a texture like corrugated cardboard. Crimps go in and out of fashion, I really have no idea if they're cool right now or not but they're mainly for kids.

I use a flat iron and make large curls with it. It isn't easy. Try using a thinner flat iron. be sure to get a CHI, it's expensive but worth it. Babyliss is good. The curl is in the technique and not the iron. Practice
