I'm dating a black guy, been with him 4 months and for some reason I feel a sad feeling inside when dating him like I'm betraying my mother because I've seen mixed girls and they do not look white at all. I am 100% positive my mother does not want a grandchild like this, she's told me in my face and it got me mad. But then later I've been feeling this guilt inside and to be honest, I do want my kids to look like me. I do not think I'd be able to raise a frizzy haired dark girl as my own.. What should I do?

Sweetheart, if and when you have biracial children you won't even see their color. All you will see is a little person that you've created and you'll love them more than you could imagine. Two of my children do not look black at all; sometimes I get confused looks from people when they call me mommy in public. But I truly don't notice their appearance until someone else mentions it, all I see are my children.
I also assure that when your mother holds her grand baby she will not care about race. I have seen some die-heart racist people change after seeing their biracial grand babies. If your mother does not change, then that is her issue and not yours. I know you love your mother, but when you become a mother yourself your love for your children will surpass all others.

You sound really selfish.

If you like this guy and want to be with him why do you care what anyone thinks?

My brother is married to a black woman and they have a baby and she is beautiful. No one was thinking about what the texture of her hair was or how dark she was, but rather how much they would love her. She looks like my brother too, so don't think just b/c the child would be interracial that he/she could not look like you.

I also, am dating a black man and have dated black men for some time and I never feel guilty or ashamed inside. Maybe you just shouldn't date interracially if you feel this way.

If you are feeling this way, you absolutely should not be dating this guy. Its not fair to him. I agree with what someone else said ....you seem a bit shallow to me too. That fizzy haired dark girl will be your daughter and if you cant love your own daughter just because you CHOSE to sleep with her black daddy, then you definitely are not ready for children. Have him wear condoms because it will be a very sad situation if you did get pregnant by this man, I feel sorry for the poor kid already and it doesnt even exist.

If this is how you feel then you may want to end the relationship before you guys start talking about marriage. I know alot of people go through this and then there is a matter of religion too when you have children. It can cause alot of grief in an relationship

You obviously don't have much regard for your boyfriend. You sound like a pretty shallow person. Why did you get involved in the first place with this guy. He had something you found appealing.

Too bad for you, you just might be missing the best man you ever met. Leave him alone, you're not worthy of him. Not because he's a different race rather, you don't seem to have much integrity.

You have known the guy for 4maths and you see yourself married and having his kids you are moving quickly and what about him has he given you any indication he wants to marry you or for you to have his kids, if you want to marry a white guy and have white kids then only date white guys.

Yay, as long because it is for the excellent reason. There are some human beings (gay and straight away) who do the biracial factor only to instruct how tolerant and cool they are. i could desire which you do no longer fall in this classification. BTW do no longer worry approximately hell. it is reserved for plenty extra serious "offenses".

You should think about it. Does it really matter that your child has nappy hair? But we don't know.

LEAVE HIM IMMEDIATELY. That is cruel for you to stay with him having any feelings like this.
