I'm about to install Norton Ghost 10.0 on my computer since I have never been able to get Acronis True Image 9.0 to work, it kept freezing up my computer and would not proceed to do what it was supposed to do. I uninstalled Acronis today.

Question: My primary HDD is only 40GB and is nearly full (only 4.5GB remaining so I installed a secondary HDD that's 250GB so it has plenty of space for installs/downloads.

Since my small 40gb HDD is nearly full, would it be OK to install Ghost on my large 250GB HDD even though it's my secondary drive?

Or, does software of this nature need to be installed on the primary HDD where the operating system (WinXP Home in my case) is installed?

Does it matter which HDD I install Norton Ghost on?

it really wouldn't matter on which drive you install it, since ghost asks you for which partition to backup...

it comes with a cd good? insert it on your cd stress and run it. if it doesnt straight away run then circulate to my laptop, good click on the cd stress and click on autoplay. if the installation wasnt useful then you definately would desire to be having a situation with its compatibility with domicile windows vista.
