I dont get along with my dad at all.We're constantly fighting I cant stand him AT ALL he doesnt understand me at all.Plus im more comfortable with my mom since she is a female. I think he has custody of me but would it be legal to move with my mom when im 16 since she is my other parent?

you are old enough to talk to them and only 2 years away from being a legal adult. Your opinion should matter and if you can talk to them both in a rational (not emotional) way, they should agree. A kid needs both parents.

Yo need to find out why your dad has you instead of your mom... were you taken from her or did she choose not to raise you... it is unusal for a girl to live with their dad to start with... there is a reason why, find out first... you might get two different stories too... your moms version then your dads... but I think at 14yo you can decide where you want to live... in some states and the parent that you are moving to has to be willing and the custodial parents has to allow it... good luck ... hopes this helps

Yes it would. The choice is legally yours after you turn 12 years old. Just talk to both of your parents about it. And if your dad doesnt understand then you could even go as far as to take it to court. As long as your mother is considered a fit parent, the choice is yours

That will depend onthe reasons that your Dad got custody.
Try talking to your parents and see if something can be worked out.
Remember that all teenage girls go through a stage of hating there parents, don't run away from your problems talk them through it's much better in the long run.

I believe you are old enough now to have your own LEGAL say so in this matter.The courts would allow you your say so. Speak with an Attorney.

Yes your old enough to pick I think its when your 14 through that you can pick go to court.

i think you are allowd to decide where you live when you are thirteen or older but your parents have to be okay with it
