Don't Twist the stud (or whatever it's pierced with). You will want to wash it 3-4 times daily with a mild anti-bacterial soap. Rise the area off after wards and pat dry with a rag. Be-careful when doing so cause this is the time when most people pull their nose rings out.If you pull your outs just put it back in as soon as it falls out. NEVER use alcohol on your nose piercing! To clean the inside of your nose boil some water in a pan (or microwave it) add a tablespoon of Sea Salt let it cool down then use a Q-tip to dip into the saline (sea Salt and water mixture) to apply to the inside of your nose. Keep the area dry at all other times. Don't change your piercing until it's completely healed! (You can buy Sea Salt at any local grocery store. It's only cost about 2.00 or so depending on where you get it at. DON'T USE TABLE SALT!!!! make sure it's SEA SALT!)

Boil some water, add some sea salt and let it cool, then dip a Q-Tip in the mixture and apply to the piercing morning and night for about 3 weeks. Then just once a day for about 3 weeks after that. Make sure you move the piercing every day.
DON'T use bactine, hydrogen peroxide, or Methylated spirits on it! People who tell you to use these things are inexperienced and don't know the side effects of it. They will dry up your skin and hinder the healing process.
If you see any changes in the piercings, like it 'puffing up' around the hole, oozing pus or swelling heavily, consult your doctor, or your piercer.
Hope this helps.

No you do not have an infection. in case you went to a expert piercer they could have instructed you the splendid aftercare for you piercing. anyhow. clean it two times each and every day with anti-bacterial cleansing soap. I even have continuously been instructed to coach my piercings. yet purely once you clean it, in no way until eventually now. you do no longer choose to rigidity something into your hollow. you additionally can do heat sea salt soaks in case you desire. tips: do no longer touch or mess with your piercing until eventually your hands are clean. do no longer use alcohol, peroxide, bactine, or ointments on your piercing. once you dry off your piercing use a paper towel, no longer a tub towel; they are able to harbor bacteria.

Try not to bump it. Don't blow your nose to hard. Make sure you swab with antiseptic morning and night - mainly on the outside and most of all - NEVER EVER TOUCH IT.
I have mine pierced three times. Pretty much just don't touch it works.

When I got mine pierced, they recommended washing with anti bacterial soap and using Vitamin E oil. My sister has had hers pierced for years, and she doesn't have to do anything anymore.

Don't have it pierced and you will not have to worry about it becoming infected and rot off your face.
