PEANUT BUTTER
If you are doing a science fair project, and it must be a liquid then definately vegetable oil ...
But peanut butter is the best...and they make peanut butter oil too!

Freeze the gum with some ice cubes and then break the frozen gum apart.

If that doesn't work, try applying something with an oil base, like a small amount of olive oil, peanut butter, or mayonnaise.

ok, do this. (i have finished it previously and it truly works, I promise!) First use vegetable oil on the gum - or tar, or pitch or inspite of the actuality that. artwork that truly properly into the ickyness. Then use sunrise dish cleansing soap to bathe it out. The oil will ruin the bonds of inspite of the actuality that you've were given sticking in there, and the sunrise will chop up the oil and launch each and every thing. i have finished this with pitch in my hair and on my fingers, and creosote on my canines - worked superbly!!

Peanut butter works. I had to use it on my daughter's hair after a gum incident. Creamy, not crunchy.. ;)
I promise this really worked. It took a while, but it worked.
