Peace of mind comes with knowing who you are and where you are going. Although it might mot be what you want to hear you must first have something that you truly believe in. I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Once I confessed my sins to Him I began to feel much better inside. Like you there was a time when I also thought I might be losing touch. The day I asked forgiveness I know that I was forgiven. It took me a long time to understand the meaning of His teachings and I still do not know all of them but I do know that after you've asked His forgiveness you must learn to forgive and love yourself. Once you find the love inside, peace is one of the special gifts He will send you. Good luck to you and may God bless.
