I am expecting a baby next week, and would like to make several dinners ahead of time, so that I can simply pull them out of the freezer and reheat. Other than soup and lasagna, what other recipes are out there that are relatively inexpensive to make and freeze well?

TIA

Good idea, I'm 5 months and have been planning to do the same thing, just waiting to get my new freezer for Christmas then I'll start filling it up!!
I'm planning to do shepherd's pie, lasagna, spaghetti sauce, stews, chili, casseroles, taco pies, soups....
For good easy recipes for casseroles and all the rest you should check out the campbells website, as well as Kraft's website.
You'll get easy recipes for everything you're looking for and it will probably tell you if it's freezable, plus you'll probably find tons of other ides on there for other casserole and one-pot-dinner type meals that will come in handy when the little one gets here!
Congratulations and good luck next week!

There is an excellent Yahoo Group called Friendly-Freezer that is dedicated strictly to what you're looking for. Groups are a great way to talk to people with similar interests. This group has about 8,500 members and they post hundreds of messages each week. You can search through past messages for recipes.

Homemade Chicken Pot Pie,Chili,Meatloaf and Goulash all very inexpensive to make and freeze well. I did the same thing when I had my son because I knew I was going to be in and out of the hospital the last few month. My daughter and husband were very appreciative.
