He should want to take care of his child 1st of all but, she has the right to put him on child support if he isn't supportive. If he is the father then he should have his child legitimized in his name and have visitation set up with the mother. Try to remember that "some" women will put a man on child support out of spite because of a break up or other reasons even if he is taking care of his responsibility. When he goes to court the Judge will say all that he did for the child was a gift to the child and now must abide by the rules of that State's Juvenile Courts. Call your State's Juvenile Court System and ask them what he should do. He would be better off trying to work it out with her without the State's interference.

I trust he is the father of the 2 kids you are asking about (and thats not meant rudely you just didnt state it in your question)and I would take him to court....he needs to pay for HIS kids and no matter how ou state they are yours one day they will probaly want to know him and as mums we dont have the right to stop that. If he is doing a wrong by not paying fix it but dont make the kids pay for it on top of it all.If he is a selfish *** they will find that out in time.

As a mom who is in need of support, I think you should get together the finances and strength needed to file in court. Forget about getting him to take them on the weekend, find a true support group of friends who can help you in that department...you don't need the kids coming home with even more confusion. Please go to court and get it in writing so he has no choices in the matter. Then the courts can deal with his payments (or lack of) and it won't be on your shoulders anymore. Most importantly, have a Merry Christmas!!

Tell him that even though he feels he does not have to pay child support for your children, the court system would beg to differ and even put him in the pokey to give him a little time to reconsider. Then tell him they don't call it the pokey for nothing.

Why let him get by with this? HE IS NOT GOING TO PAY AS LONG AS YOU DON'T TAKE ACTION.
TAKE THE SAD SACK TO COURT AND GET A COURT ORDER.
