There are many things in nature that God did not intend us to consume. Anthrax, coal, cat piss and hot dogs are all things found in nature, which if consumed, can make you ill. God gave some humans the ability to think rationally and determine what should and should not be consumed.
For instance, the first guy to eat a toadstool found out the hard way that it was not a good idea. The guy who ate one after watching his friend die, was an idiot and hopefully never reproduced.
Anyway, it's probably a good bet that God has better things to worry about. So smoke up and stop trying to justify your vices.

Firstly, the direct commandment not to smoke marijuana was not given - but "things that cause great harm" to your body was prohibited.
Secondly, because of this test, God created an abundance of things that are permissible for us and only created a few that weren't.

I'm going through a very difficult time right now, and I know the anti's will have all kinds of reasons that I shouldn't say and believe this BUT...weed has really helped me slow down and cope with the crap that's happened to me in 2006. Three deaths in the family (close family) a divorce (me) and a move. I thank God he put weed on the earth, or I'd be drinking myself to an early grave. Just my 2 cents.

I don't think it exactly means he wanted us to smoke it. Maybe more along the lines of free will, or maybe it will serve medical purposes in the future :)

Absolutely agree. I only hit the bong a couple times a week but I seem to have more and deeper communication with god.I don't think the plants purpose was to sit and look at how pretty it is.It ain't a flower.
