I was driving home from a bar with my brothers friend and out of the blue he said 'You know nothing could ever happen with us becuase your borther is still mad about you and xxxx" First he was simply driving me home and I was making fun of his music. Second I dated xxxx (who was one of my brothers friends five years ago and third WHAT?

Any ideas as to why he would say something like that out of the blue? Why would he say that when we are simply driving in a car on our way to meet my brother and our friends?

Because he was drunk......maybe he has an interest in you but is loyal to the friendship with your brother. Maybe he thinks you like him??
Guys are pretty lame especially when they have been to the bar!!!
I would not give this comment too much wight!!

Seems to me like he was thinking about something like that happening, and had to quickly say something to talk himself out of it.Maybe he thought that you were flirting with him, either there in the car or else sometime in the recent past? Who knows, it is hard to understand the minds of men... :)

Hope that this was helpful to you!
