Do you mean Shakespeare's sonnet #3?

It was written in his early sonnets where he was trying to persuade a man to marry.

Basically this poem is trying to persuade a man to marry and have kids. The poet is telling the man that he's not getting any younger and he needs to have kids now. That its cruel to leave a womans womb unused and empty.
