I have a 3 year old, and we have done all the basics, numbers, letters, colors and shapes, but now I have to teach him to read, and really dont know where to start. I am also Christain so if you know a curriculm that incorporates biblical teaching that would be great.

I home school my kids and have had wonderful results with a book called "Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons" by Siegfried Engelmann. I know several 3 and 4 yr olds who have learned with this program. You can take it at your own pace and you see results very early in the program. There are also some wonderful curriculum out there for preschool, some have been mentioned already:

Here are some great links to websites dedicated to early childhood learning. I use them often for great ideas for learning and fun!:

I hope that helps, if you are planning on home schooling after preschool I would recommend finding a home school support group in your area and get plugged in with other families who homeschool.

Blessings.

bypass to the greenback tree. each and every thing they have is incredible in the eyes of a preschooler, exceedingly the toy area. I were given my infant nephew a bib, infant hat, toy distant administration, and different toys for $a million apiece. childrens that age truly do not care about the regularly happening of it and they get drained of it so instantly or damage it, so there's no element procuring them an expensive latest. I also bypass the "greenback Spot" at the front of each and every objective shop. what's there transformations usually, yet i have been taken aback on the cool toys/presents/vacation elements i have got here across for $a million there.
