103. Don't lose weight just because your friends are doing it, but if it makes you feel better go for it.

You can calculate your bmi here http://www.kidshealth.org/teen/food_fitness/dieting/weight_height.html
by entering your height, weight, and age. At the bottom of the page it will tell you if you are overweight, underweight, or within normal range. You should take your build into consideration as well when determining where in the range you should be. Also, muscle weighs more than fat but takes up less room, so if you are muscular, your weight will be higher even though you are very fit.
If you conclude that you are overweight, please research safe ways to lose weight, as well as check with your doctor's office before choosing a weight-loss plan.

it all depends on your height and body type. People do have different body types...some are born petite, some are born more sturdier, etc etc etc. Your doctor has a chart about where you should be.

Remember: tiny is not necessary attractive in the long run. Some guys are afraid to give a tiny girl a nice, strong hug because they feel as if they will 'break her' (I got this information from a extremely thin girl herself). Shoot for the weight that is healthy for your body - not someone elses. Most importately, remember that your body is beautiful because it is yours. Its not anyone elses. Its perfect if you say it is perfect and no one (who you should care about) is going to object. Just keep it healthy.

Well how tall are you? Age doesn't matter, because if you were 4'3 and the "average weight of a 13 year old" was 100 pounds, you'd be fat. But if you were 6'2 and 100 pounds, you'd be really skinny and unhealthy.

I think it's healthiest for a girl of this age not to worry about her weight. Eat healthy and be active...be happy...enjoy life...there will be plenty of time to worry about your weight later in life!
Unless of course a doctor has told you to loose weight..stay away from "diets" or anything like that...just eat more fruits and veggies!!
