I heard that if you drink a cold drink after a meal that it solidfies the oilly things you eat and slows down your digestion and can also lead to a heart attack, so its better to drink hot tea or warm water after a meal?

drinking water after a meal can lead to heart attack? what??

from what i know..myocardial infarction is caused mainly by smoking, high LDL, obesity, high blood pressure..

but never from drinking cold water..especially after a meal

and it does not solidify the oily things you eat. I don't believe cold or warm water solidifies oil because oil is hydrophobic to either warm or cold water/tea. They wouldn't even mix..

even having a beer after a meal won't do anything but intoxicate you

If you're looking for a reason for skipping on cold drink after eating hot food (or not eating cold desert, like ice-cream, for that matter) here's one -- rapid temperature changes damage your teeth. Teeth and teeth stops (or dentures) are made of different materials, so they expand and contract differently when thermally affected.

It's true, in Eastern medicine it is believed that there is such a thing as too much cold or too much heat. The cold can shock your system, causing mood swings, interruptions in your digestion, muscle aches, etc.
