It's gorgeous! I would definitely recommend seeing it. I live in Ontario and have been there twice within the past 6 years. I would live there if I could. There is so much tourism and the land is nothing like you've ever seen before. The people there are the most friendliest people I've met. We were admiring a fishermans boat one afternoon and he asked us to come aboard and he took us out fishing and then invited us back to his house for supper with his wife! You can go whale watching and you wil regret it if you don't try the lobster! So much to see so make sure you give yourself enough time to check it all out! The beaches are beautiful, although the water is chilly but still fun. The golf courses are the greenest I've seen. Check it out at www.peiplay.com and it will give you everything you need to know from places to stay and things to do and how to get there. Enjoy!

I felt like I was coming home again after a long time away...There is, of course, a lot of Anne of Green Gables stuff to do on P.E.I....some great shopping downtown in the boutiques (including Moon Snail Soap Works, which right next door to the Delta Prince Edward, a four diamond hotel) you must try some Cow's Ice Cream and get one of their novelty t-shirts...Desperate HouseCows is a favorite...There is a lot of fine dining and seafood to be had...stop at the shops on the way back over the Confereation Bridge for excellent keepsakes and fun PEI only kinds of merchandise...

Hi
I have lived on PEI (Prince Edward Island) all of my life and I love it here. I am not interested in living anywhere else. I call it a hidden island paradise. I have traveled around most of North America and have not found anywhere like PEI. Swim in the ocean, lay on the beach and read, hike the trails, bird watch and eat fresh out of the garden. www.hiddenislandparidise.blogspot.com

Smiles :o)

Small but mighty, our smallest province, but probably the biggest heart. It is safe, clean, tranquil. Has big business but still manages to keep that small town friendly feeling through out the province.

All the 3 previous answers are correct (though water would not be warm for someone from Florida, for sure). Plus boring. Plus stormy, often windy winters.
