Last time an answer by someone named cristy got voted out and I really wanted to read what it said so I hope I can catch it here again. Other details about the question are that I have been reading a lot lately that people who sleep around who are not trying to hurt people do because they are confident and confortable with their sexuality. It's like a sub group within society that call themselves players and practice having sex on each other to simply be good at it and feel sexy.
Also maybe I can get some new responses by more people.

Promiscuity causes pain. As a hairdresser who didn't become a hairdresser for the money, believe me. Having had a lot of women is not really a good thing. I now know that I like this on a woman and I don't like that. I watched too much porn and not a lot of women can do all that. Now I want a woman with all that and they don't make them that way. Less is better. A whisper is better than a shout. I'm not saying marry a virgin but moderation is the key. Players have issues, The MTV generation and their fantasies. Maybe you need to get it out of your system so you can say you been there done that.

Not necessarily. It could mean they have no self confidence at all and they want someone to "want" them so they have a "purpose". Or it could be that they're curious, there's various reasons and most will be personal more than likely. I strongly advise against it though because STDs don't care what you're reason is.

promiscuous people can not control their animal lusts so the need overrides any morals, or sense of self preservation they might have....because anyone with half a brain knows the risks of sex and the potential life threatening deseases that can come of it...

It depends-do they have to get drunk in order to be "free and easy". I'd like to hear about people who are confident in their sexuality without the aid of booze. Anybody?

No it means they are nasty. Being comfortable with your sexuality has nothing to do with how many people you sleep with. It is a state of mind.
