This past year of my life mostly revolved around being in love with this guy.We never did anything about our feelings however,and my bf doesnt know about them.I've been dating my bf for ages now,but he has become friends with this guy and has become quite interested in becoming mates with him coz they will be playing together in their bands at a concert.He did something really embarrassing the other day,something said which mortified me and the boy,and my bf keeps chatting to me about him,making me feel uncomfortable.what can i do?

Explain to him that you're tired of hearing about the boy. Say, if you want to talk about him--go hang out with him and be around him. Otherwise, let's talk about something else. If not then I am leaving. Simple as that.

wow, that's a tough one. If you were older and more mature I would say fess up to your bf about your emotional past with this guy and that you don't want to hear about him, but since you seem young, don't. It will hurt him and he will suspect that something happened even if you say it didn't. It will also cause problems for his band. I won't even go into the horrible mess it would make if you and the ex-interest started gravitating towards each other again...
I think the only real option you have it to deal with it. Guys will talk about their girls. People will talk about their friends... You can tell your b.f. that you don't want him to talk about personal (read "sexual") things about you to other people or hear about overly personal stuff about his friends. Don't single out this one guy or he will get the rest of the pic of the past on his own... You are in an extra tough situation where your ex-interest and now longtime bf are getting to be close. Chalk it up to having a colorful life and deal with it. Life could dish you out much worse...
