Ok. So the boy I like (yes, he likes me too. no we are not going out. don't ask why. I don't know.) is perfect. He plays trumpet, piano, violin, and accordian. He sings beautifully. He's a wonderful actor. He fences. He gets straight A's. He's funny. He can draw. He's hot. And he speaks fluent Lithuanian. How do I compete?

You may not like this answer, but....
have you considered that this boy may be gay? Those multiple talents are sometimes a sign of that person being gay. Ok so i shouldnt stereotype..but i'm gay myself and i see these signs. Id be on the lookout...ive known many girls who have gotten their hearts broken on the "best guy out there." Did they ever stop to think that the reason he is "the best" is becuase hes too good to be true? Ok so i digress but...theres a reason that gay men are so attractive to women. First and formost...they are unthreatening. Other than that, on average they are more educated, intelligent, caring, emotional, creative...all the things that women are more typically comprised of.

Other than that...life isnt about competition.especially to win the heart of a person.

Good luck!

Compete for what? Relationships are not competitions, and if you have to compete with him on Fluent Lithuanian,,, forget it.

Why would you need to, you are talented and perfect in your own way. He has alot going on, he obviously likes you for what you bring to the relationship. Don't worry so much and enjoy your friend.

Compete with what? You don't have to have all the same hobbies/interests he does, nor be proficient at the ones you share.

Be yourself. If that's not good enough, then move on.

Why do you want to? If he likes you then you have already won. IF you are speaking in terms of other women, their is never a competition for the man that is for you. NEVER.

You don't have to compete. Just the fact that he likes you makes you good enough.

Why do you want to compete? If you have a good relationship, your strengths may compliment his weaknesses. Everyone has weaknesses.

and vice versa

Hon, he's probably gay. I'm sorry, but he probably is and so maybe there's no competition so much as there is a great friend you can have for a lifetime!

You don't compete. You support him and he supports you. That's how relationships work. You both put something in, and you both get to gain something from it.
