I bought my flowers at my local grocery store in there florial department and I did all of my own arrangments and they looked really proffesional for a fraction of the price
I had a september wedding and the roses happpend to be on sale they were buy a dozen get a dozen free so I made out well. The only problem is if you buy from your local store most likely they can't guarentee what they will get in. I was told for them to special order they would have to order from another grower to guareentee the specific colors and it would cost an extra dollor a stem. So I took the chance and waited till the day before the wedding and came up with a beautiful assortment of roses, lillies and berries. If you can't find all your colors in one place go to costco or sam's club they have nice roses and I believe you can order them over the internet and have them shipped to your home. Hope this helps and good luck with all the planning. If you need any more help feel free to email me BabyDolll128@yahoo.com

You didn't say when. Find an arboretum or garden that will have weddings! My niece did and hers turned out beautiful with the live flowers! My brothers was in a park. The natural colors was great. You may have to consider what some of the scents may do to the wedding party and guests if the wedding and reception is enclosed with all the flowers you can find(allergies)!

There are tons of wholesale places in cali. Just do an internet search. You should be able to get them cheap too, bc most of the growers are in your state.

There are also TONS of discount rose packages available online. You can get lots and lots of roses for REALLY cheap. One that I remember is 2 G Roses. Check out the newest version of the book Bridal Bargains for more sites.

Try the Grand Boxes at www.flowerbud.com. Pricing is very competitive, flowers are lovely but will have to have someone arrange them.
