They will get soggy if you do. Just keep them in an airtight container at room temperature.

actually, unless your not going to eat them right away i keep them out in no real container, if you put them in a bag the water in the butter may condense and make them soggy, especially in high heats, any thing over 78 degrees F.

as long as its not over 100 degrees insides, they will be fine. Put them in a bag or tupperware so they don't get stale.

there is no way they should last long enough to make it in the fridge. if you make em right they should be gone in about 3 minutes

I would say not to. But when I make them they never last long enough to say whether you should or not.

I never do, but I love them, so they don't last very long. I don't think you would need to though
