i think the gov't is wrong on the way they are handling this problem and i believe that this will not go away...i don't have the answer so help me out here people...let's hear some solution...

What do you think? To solve the problem of illegal mexician coming into USA.?
We should let them join our military for 6 years, learn proper english and then given them citzenship upon completion...this will increase our arm forces, they will have to pay taxes, and be part of the building of our nation economy...

I think that is a great idea if they have the WANT or desire to be a citizen. Some of them are here only to make money (very little) and are doing the jobs that Americans won't do. There is no way we can keep them from sneaking into our country and I think we should be more worried about the muslims.

When I was in the army we had someone join who couldn't speak proper English (how he got in I have no idea, this was even before the Iraq war). Anyway, just the fact they couldn't read the maintanence manual made him practically useless, and finally had to get rid of him.
The military doesn't need people who can't communicate in English, it just ends up causing more problems then it solves. We have enough recruits to fill up as many jobs as are available in the military so it's not an issue anyway.
We do need more troops, but that will never happen because the administration could never admit the size of the problem they were getting into when we invaded Iraq. And now it's too late to start increasing the size of the army for it affect the outcome in the middle east.
Aside from which, there is already a program that fast tracks a legal immigrants status to American citizen if they join the military. There is no need to drop the barriers to join the military any further, it will only decrease the effectiveness of our fighting force.

I don't understand how we can keep people from walking any land they want too. Besides before us white folks were here there was Indians and mexicans. Let's all just live together and get along!!!

Your idea is good. But they need to do all the hard work real americans do. They need to pay taxes. They need to jet jobs. They need to previde for them selves instead of making all of us pay them for not doing a dam thing.

oh sure like our military is going to become a public school? no way, I want someone protecting me that understands what a command is...lord knows they might get a real american killed.
