I would put the dog on a schedule. Maybe with morning & afternoon feedings. All dog food bags will have a size/weight chart, with the appropriate amount to feed.

A raw diet isn't high protein sweetie, remember that raw fresh foods are really high in water content, it makes the protein content come in around an average of 20% - lower than a lot of kibbles! I agree with others, a second opinion in general is recommended for serious diagnoses, especially when a vet is going to pull the "diet" card without substantial reasoning. It's hog-wash, try and find a better vet, and one who's going to listen! Don't fret! Hope you find a vet that's helpful!!!

an 18 m/o old Pup should be fed 1-2 times per day.It should be on adult food.Feed a bit less than what the bag says (they want you to buy food more often)Use a good brand of food, nothing from the food store.Purchase from a pet supply store.Have fun!

Twice a day. Once in the morning and Once in the evening. Like all other dogs. Even though they may be small they still can have an appetite. <3
