It's still cheating. Body parts don't have to touch for it to be a betrayal of your partner.

It would be tough to trust someone after something like that, probably even more than if they had physically cheated, because phone/email is more accessible and require little time where someone physically cheating needs a time and a place, to do the deed.

It could definitely be a deal breaker.

i have , but not because they cheated on email and phone but because they treated me like s...t saying these woman treated him better and were wonderful. he didn't realise these relationships were not real, you can never know a person from emails or phone, only by every day life and living together. it worries me how many people are taken in by this these days the grass always seems greener on the other side but very rarely is. some people see this as cheating others don't it all depends on your own personal values and only you know those. but if you truly love someone why have any sort of Internet relationship? unless something is missing in you REAL one.

In my eyes, intent is the same as deed. If your partner is intimate with someone over e-mails and the phone then it is probably only a matter of time before they would do it in person.

Yes, that is just one step from sex and that is betrayal in the sense that they are emotionally and mentally being deceptive and cheating. So, I'd be happy I wasn't exposed to any diseases. What would staying with the person say? It's ok? We teach people how to treat us and that isn't even close to how I expect to be treated or how I'd choose to treat anyone either. So, I'd make them leave.

Yes I would cause cheating is cheating, what if that person were in the area, im sure he would have met her. I say you leave him and find someone who would never even think about hurting you that way.

I probably would leave. I would hate to find out that my partner was talking and sharing their feelings with someone else.

Sounds like your partner does not know the meaning of fidelity, or can't respect it.

It will only be a matter of time before they link-up with someone other than you.

Tell em'' Ta-ta.

Yes! To me, it's still considered cheating when a spouse goes to someone else for support especially sharing emotions and having cyber sex. It means they're obviously unsatisfied and not willing to communicate.

No, it's not that easy. There are feelings involve. I will talk to him. Evaluate his feelings and actions towards me. If he can't pull through with this 'thing' that he's having then I think it's time to leave. At least, I have tried to save whatever relationship we have. It's now up to have to decide for himself.

Nor any different from cheating if they met in person. Yes, I would leave them--that is very disrespectful to you as well as your marriage.
