6'2" = 74" tall
Bed sizes in the US:
Double: 53" wide x 74.5" long
Queen: 60" w x 80" L
King: 76" w x 80" L
California King: 72" w x 84" L

So, the King and queen are the same length. If this man is...wide...as well as tall, and he won't be sleeping alone, or if he likes to stretch his arms over his head when he sleeps, you might be better off with the King or California King.

I believe twin double and queen beds are all the same length, the width is the only difference. The king/ california king mattress is longer. He should fit on a queen fine, but its a matter of comfort.

Defiantly a King, but if you can get a California King it is much better.
