Chandler - W 33 (KO's 18) TF 37 - W pct 89% - KO pct 49% - wins over Carter, Solis[2], Lugan, Muniz and Canizales - KO 'ed by R. Sandoval (last fight)
He was known for jiggling his right hand after delivering it.

Zarate - W 66 (KO's 63) TF 70 - W pct 94% - KO pct 90% - wins over Zamora, Davila and Savage - KO'ed by Gomez and Zaragoza - #21 ranked puncher - #76 ranked fighter

Jeff was a good boxer and an excellent defensive fighter. In this fight Chandler will need all his skills. I see Zarate in a unanimous decision with Chandler doing every thing to stave off a KO.

Chandler replaced into too courageous for his own solid, and against a puncher like Zarate finally Jeff might have have been given nailed. under maximum circumstances Chandlers aggression replaced into an outstanding factor, yet against Zarate it would have ended in Jeff getting countered and KOed.

Great Match-Up Brent, had Zarate not retired after his controversial SD loss to Pintor they just might have met in the ring.

Keys to Ponder-Zarate's formidable KO power vs Chandler's Granite Chin. Zarate has some history stopping guys who had never been stopped before (see Paul Ferreri). But, Chandler has also been in with some big punchers (Canizales) and weathered the storm.

Had Chandler and Zarate fought I see Chandler's reach advantage and non-stop activity helping him to squeak out a 15 round split decision over Zarate. But, Jeff would be seriously affected by the encounter without question.
