Thank her for the good things she does for you or others. Mention fun things you know she has done with others or hobbies she has succeeded at. Give compliments. Bring up a couple memories that you have that are positive. Try to laugh together. Tell her a funny story about what has happened with you and people perhaps you work with or something silly you saw or experienced. What made you laugh today? When you begin to argue simply tell her we each have our opinion and we have to agree to disagree, after all nothing is life changing that you are arguing about is it?

How old are u? If your over 18 and going off to college maybe its time to separate a little from your mom. First find out why you guys argue so much. Is is miscommunication, disrespect, or some kind of barrier? Can't help you that much buddy... u should of elaborated more.

I am always fighting with my mother. It often seems as though mom is jealous of the life I have lived and the attention I receive from Dad. I believe it is true the old saying that we are so much alike (even though I hate to admit it) that we are not able to get along.

Ok do what i do aviod things that u know will piss you off when talking to your mothers.....
Find a neutral grounds where converstation remain stable....
Walk away from a starting of an arguement and sometimes you jus have to shut that mouth u have and agreed with them so less damage is done....

i used to fight with my mum all the time growing up.then i got married and things got better..now ive had my own daughter.i consider mum to be one of my best friends in life...i think mothers and daughters will always have there ups and downs.but in the end.nobody will be there for you the way she will..give it time.things will get better
