Ok. I've put up tons of Q's here about the sit. w/ me and this girl. Things were pretty hairy there for a while, but I think they're calming back down again. But, now I am just wondering if I am in danger of regressing to just a friend. It's just sorta a backwards situation. We had all the chemistry, attraction right from the get go, but I think we both tried to ride it too long. Now it's like we're scrambling to be better friends with each other, too. But like I said, I don't want to be relegated to just that (I mean she's a great girl and all, but...) So, any advice here? Any signs it's headed that direction? It's not like I suspect it is, but I just want to make sure. And please don't suggest talking to her. Not that we won't talk, but we had been doing too much of that lately and we just need to enjoy ourselves for a while w/out examining our relationship.

It sounds to me like you two may need a break from each other. I have answered a few of your other questions before so I know a little about what is going on. It sounds like too much stress and tension between you both and it is causing many conflicts. If that's the case how is it possible that you two can relax and enjoy each other? It does sound like it is heading towards "just friends". I think it is great that you are tying to be better friends. It's awesome to consider your lover as your best friend. What a strong bond and that's a huge part of a great relationship. Your next step should be just relax and stop analyzing everything so much. Enjoy it day-by-day.....I admire you for trying so hard but I think you need to stop and enjoy each moment before it is gone.

All relationships have lulls, ups and downs, insecurities..just imagine being married for 10 years and feeling the way you do. Some people forget to be friends first and let the "honeymoon period" rule them. You both should remember what attracted you to eachother (hopefully not just looks) and once you can communicate with eachother heart to heart you should be able to ride this lull out!

From what I see, don't worry about putting a title on anything or having a title. Take your time and enjoy the friendship or whatever it is yall are doing. Somethings are meant to change and sometimes when they do, they are not what we expected them to be. A physical attraction can sometimes cloud our true judgment of things. Just take your time.

I'll admit I didn't read all of your question, but caught what you said that you'd already put "many questions" on here about you and some chick...dude, can you not make any decisions for yourself?

Not tryin' to slam ya man, but if you feel the need to ask so many questions about to handle things with one girl, perhaps you're simply not ready to date.

I think you need to move on and find someone you can start fresh with. This is getting old and you need to let it go.
