Never. Boys and girls should never communicate.
What kind of question is this? I have had male friends since preschool. There is no right or wrong age for people to have friends who are the opposite sex, and there is definitely no correct age for them to speak to one another.

I was calling girls at age 10 to 11 so probably some time around there.

When you ask that what do you exactly mean?
Call her out for a date?Asking for help on certain school subjects?Wanting to know her best friend?
There are alot of reason for a guy to call a girl on the phone,They can be as young as 8
If you are refering to like getting to ask her out for a date well I would say 16

No, because you are attracted to BOYS. It doesn't matter what they look like - if you are a female and you are not attracted to females, you aren't gay. That being said, I've read about studies which examined the difference between men with masculine features vs. feminine features and how women perceived them to have different personality traits. For example, feminine looking men were considered more sensitive, better with children, more creative, etc. and masculine looking men were considered more aggressive, domineering, etc. I am more attracted to men with feminine features, and I also value the kinds of qualities the study said more feminine looking men were expected to have. Maybe this is true for you too?

whenever they want..there isn't a certain age for it...from the first day of school, boys and girls are going to communicate...just because they talk on the phone doesn't mean anything will spark from it..they're gonna be happy just being on the phone

that should be up to u not the rest of the world. for me I have 3 teenage boys.
the 14 yr old has had the same girlfriend for 2 yrs.
the 15 yr old dont have one right now
the 16 yr old has been callin girls n had his first gf at like 13.
if i had a girl would be the same

First you will know of itis when you get a large phone bill courtesy of your son phoning said girls. Discuss it with him then and limit time on phone unless he can afford to pay for the calls.

It dpends on what they are calling then about...if it's to ask them on a dat, then obviously when you believe they are allowed to date - sometimes from 15 onwards...if it's just to hang out with friends, or organising a birthday party or something, then whatever age. I know a 6 year old who gets him mum to help him ring his friends to invite them over to play.
Just monitor it.

they can even talk earlier if they call each other and talk about school work and home work..
I used to do it at 7 and 8 years old and we would talk about home work, we thought it was cool ..
keep it to a certain time limit
and kind of keep an ear on them..
