they also sell hardware devices that plug into your phone that basically send *67 when you pick up a phone. however, it should be noted that a lot of phone companies now have anon call block as a standard feature, meaning if you block your number, the call will not go through.
calls to toll-free numbers however will still reveal your number.

Dial * 6 7 then dial the number you are calling as normal. Or you can call your phone company and have your number permanantly blocked. Most phone companies will do this for free. To unblock your number if you have a perm blocked number dial * 8 2 then dial the number you are calling

u press 141 before u put the number in that u want to call ... hides your ID ....
