Do you know that back in the late 60's police would beat up people solely because they had long hair?

Everyone had long hair back in those days...so they all got pistol whipped eh?
Maybe in a situation you would be the first one tagged as a trouble maker and got the worst of it but not just get smacked cuz you walked by a cop and had long hair.
