1/2 cup each of:
Ice, strawberries, banana, milk, yogurt,
spoonful of Ruby Red mix and honey

Hubby has this every day of his life. Started adding the Ruby Red about last January and hasn't had a cold since. He's a diabetic and has always had at least 6-8 colds each year before this one.

This isn't an ad and I don't sell the stuff, I bought mine online. It was suggested by some friends who also haven't had any colds since taking this stuff. I don't use it myself, I am too mean to get sick.

Okay - bear with me here...I know this sounds absolutely disgusting, but it's really good. I like to take a banana, toss it in the blender with some frozen blueberries (about a cup, I guess). Add a scoop of protein powder and some freshly ground flax seeds. I use either low-fat milk or kefir, and then (here's the icky sounding part) I toss in a very generous handfull of fresh spinach. I swear, you can't taste the spinach, and it's a good way to sneak some greens in.

Here's my basic smoothie - substitute the frozen fruit and flavored yogurt as you like.

1 banana
1 single serving size carton of vanilla yogurt
about 1/2 cup of orange juice
about 1/2 cup of frozen strawberries (don't thaw them)

Blend and pour. Try substituting flavored yogurt, frozen raspberries, blueberries, peaches, etc, and juices/juice blends like guava, grape or fruit punch.
