im just trying to find out the average cost of the invisalign braces from an orthodontist perspective (Cost of Goods) not the patient's perspective.

The basic fee is $1,500, but this does not include case refinement, special attachment or retainer fees. Please do not draw any conclusions about the dental fee charged based on this information. This does not include time and materials for the impressions, bonded extracoronal attachments, interproximal reduction at subsequent visits, etc.

depends on where you live and how well known your orthodontist is. it also depends on your insurance policy, some may pay for a small fraction of the cost, others will not pay for a dime.

check out this website, you may find some good information and decide that metal braces or clear braces are good for you, i have metal on my bottom and clear on the top and you can hardly tell and i only had to pay $150 for the clear and my insurance covered the bottom.
