Every year my school has a POPS concert. This year I am a junior and I want to sing something. But I don't know what. Previous years I sang with the chorus and chambers and didn't audition.
Requirements:
You also can't have a recording, you have to have a live band or accompaniment. My dad plays guitar, and if it's an easy song I can play it myself. I also know of someone who could accompany me on piano, but if it's easy I can learn it myself.

It has to be a popular song, a pop/rock song, or something you wrote yourself.

It has to be mainly students from our school.

I was thinking a Fiona Apple song because I love Fiona Apple, I'm an alto, and none of her songs have been done in recent years. Someone else MIGHT do Criminal by Fiona. With my band I am going to be doing a Killing Heidi song, Calm Down. But my sister will be singing, I will be playing bass.

Does anyone know of any female alto artists or songs I could do that fit the requirements?

Sing Parting Gift by Fiona. It's a good song, especially for an alto, and it's super easy to learn on the piano.

Sing one of the old songs, for example Jodi Mitchel, you won't have anyone playing the same artist as you and she has beautiful song that are still considered cool.

Try something by Stevie Nicks of Fleetwood Mac. Her voice was a little bit lower. How about "Landslide"? I think Smashing Pumpkins did a cover of that one a few years ago, too...
