You can find Masons in SA also when Masonary is prohibeted in the Muslim countries of the Midle East partly. Most Masons would deny that there is any just because of the animosity or that Masonary conflicts with religious views. Despite beeing outlawed in SA, the lodge leaders (not offically) there like to think their presence is benign.
Often the lodges meet in secret and in fear of their officers beeing carted off to the policestation. Happened in SA in the past.

There is no masonic connection to Saudi that I could find. H is correct in the fact that all "Secret" organizations are forbidding under Muslim law. However there is a practicing Lodge in Iraq but it is an American Lodge sponsored by the Grand Lodge of New York. Lastly masonry started in the Middle East (Though British Masons would argue that point and that's another can of worms). I have an Islamic brother in my blue Lodge so they do exist.

It is highly probable that there are Masons but not Masonic Lodges. Most Masons are of the Rite of Scottish Masons.
