my 6 year old fox terrier is depressed and obsessing over her toys that squeek...trying to hide and feed them as if they were her puppies.

No, it's not normal, but it's not unheard of. Some dogs, spayed or unspayed, go through false pregnancies and think of their toys as pups. Keep giving her lots of love and attention and she'll work through it.

Yep, many dogs and cats will do this same thing. She may do it for a while, but she will give it up eventually. Just love her and play with her lots and lots. Her hormones are out of wack, but they should regulate pretty quickly. If this goes on for more than a month or so, take her back to the vet.

WHY did you wait so long to have her spayed? She could be experiencing a false pregnancy. That is how a female will act. You don't mention how long ago she was spayed?

I would call the Vet if she doesn't stop soon. That is not good for her to continue that kind of behavior. Mentally it is not good.

yes because it knows it is gone and you should of done it when she was a pup
