An earlier question about persecution caused me to think about this issue.

Lets take the time to thank God for the freedom most of us have to worship and talk about God and remember our brothers and sisters in Christ in countries such as China and Cuba who are suffering greatly for their faith.

The above link profiles some of them who are in prison. I am reminded that we need to redeem the time and not take our freedom for granted.

Remember those in prison as if you were their fellow prisoners, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.

I agree, we should definitely pray for those who are persecuted! And even though prayer is action in itself, we can also do other things to help them as well as pray. It's not fair that people in America and other countries like it are free to believe what they want (with only a little prejudice) and are so privileged, and others barely live because they are Christian. I'll pray with you!

That is a great site. You can write letters to prisoners in their language on that site. Christians in the Sudan need our prayers too. Daily they are killed for their faith. There are so many homeless children because their parents were killed by radical Islamists for believing in Christ. If that isn't the work of Satan, what is??

God Bless

That is a good idea, to pray for those in other countries who are actually being persecuted- some even to death! Definately keep them in prayer- That the Lord would uphold them with His righteous right hand and give them strength and wisdom.

Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

-Amen!

Praying constantly interceding one for one another.

Take authority over the enemies, binding them from harming, imprisoning, torturing, etc. Loosing from the prisons those brothers & sisters in Christ who are only imprisoned because of their faith in the LORD Jesus Christ, and false accusations. Or those in hiding, to be free in Christ.

Include the Muslims being persecuted by the US government. The same government that does nothing to help Christians in China and Cuba.

I am indeed thankful for the many freedoms that I enjoy.

I hope that those persons who are persecuted for their beliefs are released, and freed from persecution.

For all mankind :

May we be Happy
May we be Healthy
May we be free from Danger
May it go easy for us all.

Peace and Love to all

You are so right. It's easy to take our freedom for granted when it comes so easy.
I pray that God gives them the courage and strength to face the trials and tribulations they must be going through.

What a friggin waste of time and effort. Try becoming politically active. Try joining a protest of the Chinese Govt for killing Falum Gong members - oh wait a sec - they arent your brothers and sisters "in Christ". Too bad you dont have compassion for EVERYONE ON EARTH, just fellow Christians.

Can anyone say "out group hostility pattern"? You people are no better than the Muslims you bag on....
