Is it normal for asian girls not to tell their parents about u?

i've been with two asian girls and none told their parents that i was their bf. I only went out with both for 3 months, but I still kind of felt insulted by that, kinda felt that i wasn't really accepted. btw i'm also half white/half asian.

I'm Asian, and I will tell you right now, if you're not Asian, too, your girl's not going to tell her parents about you for a WHILE.

You have a right to feel insulted because it IS rude, but understand that when a girl doesn't tell her parents about a boyfriend, that probably means her parents don't think she's ready to date.

It's common (ESPECIALLY W/ DADS) to distrust or be upset over a daughter's boyfriend if he's not the same race. It's a security issue.

Next time you date an Asian, make it very clear that if she doesn't tell her parents right off the bat, it's not going to work. YOU deserve respect and acknowledgement as an individual. If she can't even handle telling her parents, then she clearly isn't ready to date you.
