I have a 5 year old daughter.. but she is very tall for her age.. She is in a size 1. My friend has an 8 year old daughte who is also in a size 1.. so I would say that if she is about an average sized 5 year old I would go with a 10-11.
Otherwise, look at her shoe's and see what size they are... then get them a size bigger... or ask her parents!
BTW, VERY nice choice! I know for a fact my 5 year old would LOVE those!

I have a 4-year old and she will be 5 on Jan 07 she wears a size 10. My niece is 5 and she wears the same size. You can even go for a 9 1/2

I was a foster mother to a 5 year old girl and she wore a 1 1/2 shoe size. Her sister was 7 and she wore a 31/2 though. I think you will be safe with a 1 or a 2. If its two big, she will grow into them, and if its too small, give them the gift receipt and exchange it for another size. Good Luck

My step daughter is 4 and she wears an 8 1/2. Is it possible to contact her parent to ask what her actual size is? We all know how uncomfortable shoes can be if they do not fit! The shoes are darling, so you might even consider getting them a 1/2 size too big so that she can wear them for a longer time.

It is so hard to guess a childs shoe size. If it was me buying I would buy a 1. I teach 4 year olds and the average is 11.5 or 12. Normally they go through a huge growth spurt around that age too. If she is really tall though or big for her age then her shoe size will be bigger. If she is petite then her shoe size could be much smaller. Tough buy. Good luck!

I have a 5 year old daughter (May 18) she wears a size 13 in her tennis shoes, I bought her winter boots a touch bigger at 13 1/2 due to 2 pair of socks etc. Hope this helps.

Soooo cute, all little kids are different. Ask her folks what size she wears. My daughter is 4 and wears an 11 1/2....it really depends on what size your niece is.
