theres a guy i like alot and i see him on a daily basis, though i dont talk to him alot. ive been talking to him more lately, and im pretty sure he likes me too. how do i go about asking him on a date? im so shy! also, what if he doesnt like american girls?

Ask him if he wants to go see the new James Bond movie with you. Or something like that. Ask him to go someplace with you but don't directly say, "wanna go on a date?" I mean you can say that too, but you said you're shy so I figure by not coming right out and saying it you're kinda protecting yourself.
That thing about not liking "american girls" is a sterotype. I'm sure he will judge you on what he knows of you as a person and not as an "american girl." Do you judge him by his race or by his individuality? Well he probably views you by similar standards so I think everything should work out. Good luck!

Most likely he speaks English like other guys so just ask him, or if necessary, hand him a note. I'm not trying to be funny, but know how our Asian son acted.

Try to find out what types of movies that he likes and ask him to go see one with you - like a friendship or just hanging out. That is less pressure than a date.

I like a boy, and he's American. I'm Asian, and I'm afraid of whites liking me. Just ask your friend to talk to him, or build the courage...it'll make him think your a very intellegent girl who wants to take chances...ooh

if you like him then ask him don't be one of these people who are scared of connecting with another race after all everyone bleeds red, if you like him give it a go you have nothing to lose by trying but if he says no because you are American remember every ones parents raised them differently with different morals and beliefs so don't take it personally

sry but girls don't ask guys out. (makes the guys feel awkward)you have to try to make him chase you. get closer to him in a friendly way and if he starts to seem affectionate to you he might have the guts to ask. not being sexist but any guy can agree he doesn't want to be asked out by a girl.
