my boyfriend has been very angry lately. he's been selfish. he's been humbleless. he's been uncompassionate. that's not his natural way, how can i remind him, subtly about the words of God? i am roman catholic and what prayers or readings can i "slip" in his wallet/pocket?

Jesus said something to Peter after the Resurrection that may help you with this problem. As Peter and Jesus walk up the beach away from the fishing boats Peter saw John walking right behind them. Peter ask Jesus what about that man referring to John.. Jesus said what if I should that he stay in the flesh until I come what is that to you, You follow Me.. Your duties don't include trying to change anyone but yourself. You follow Christ and let Christ take care of others. Can you do it? Jim

You can only pray for him and make healthy boundaries for your life. Do not allow him to treat you bad and he will get the message. But only God can change someone's insides. He may not change so you may have to look elsewhere. You deserve better right?

Don't bring up god. You'll only make things worse. What you need to do is let him know how he's making your feel and appeal to him as a person, not a disciple of god.
