I have been emailing a guy for a bit on myspace - he's at war. He's actually called me while he's there..He's due home next week, but lately there's been some girls leave some comments publicly for him like thanks for calling me, can't wait to sit by the fireplace :), hey babe, I miss you, 18 more days, ect....hey thanks for my present, can't wait til Christmas, ect...

Should I not even meet him? We are both mid20's. I just don't want to meet him if he is going to be a player.

It sounds like he has a girlfriend he hasn't told you about. Honestly, I wouldn't get involved. Even if he tells you he will leave her for you, if he would do it to her he will do it to you. Please take my advice and don't get involved, if you do you are just asking for trouble!! And remember what goes around comes around if you steal someone else's bf it may happen to you, and think about how much that can hurt. Its not worth it.

It does sound like he's e-dating a few girls, so he does sound like he's a bit of a player. Normally I'd say ditch a player, but this guys at war give him a break and continue at least talking to him. After all he sees at war a friendly conversation or some casual flirting probably does this guy some good by distracting him from all the horrible things he has to see out there

Yes definatley sounds like a player. Hes probably married for all you know. He might just be talking to all of you females until he comes home. Hes lonely over there and hes probably got all kinds of girls getting naked for him on the net. I wouldnt waste your time meeting him.

Your answer is right in your question. If he has many dates "booked," then don't even bother with him. Tell him you can be his friend but nothing else, and if he asks why, just tell him the truth. That actually sounds like my ex Jonathan, he was at war and now he's back in the states.

the work of a playa...myspace is a great way to find out what they are REALLY up to...i wouldn't meet him, or you could meet him, but don't get your heart set on anything.
she is probably his lady, and you are an on the side chick (sorry to be so harsh). guys could be jerks, you just found out before you got involved too deeply...
