I've had the same problem forever! I have pretty thin hair, but sounds like yours.
- i recently invested in a Chi (an amazing name brand straightener) it costs around 100.00 but u can find them cheaper!
-while getting my hair done, they lady taught me a really cool way to curl my hair. Start straightening 2 in pieces of hair. Depending on how much curl, start around the middle and curl your straightner, and let ur hair slide through.
- it takes about the same time as it does to straighten (once you get good at it)
- your final product will be loose / bouncy curls that stay in longer than a curling iron.
-if u already have a skinny straightner then it will work to.
-also try aussie skrunch spray. it works great!

cope with your self to a curly blow each now and then for a metamorphosis. positioned money right into a sturdy hairdryer or use one which you have already got, and additionally a around barrell brush (an excellent one pondering your hair is thick), whilst your hair is approximately 80% dry, wrap your hair around the comb and dry it with the hairdryer to create curls. that's plenty extra effective than curling hair because of the fact the curls are plenty bouncyer and hair seems fuller. The extra you test the extra effective you will get at it. additionally attempt staring at hair tutorials on youtube to learn the thank you to apply your curlers and create waves for a different type.

If its long enough try curling it with your straighteners. You will need a thin pair of straightners. Start near your roots and twist them while pulling them through your hair, a bit like you would when you curl ribbon with sisscors. It gives nice curls that aren't too tight!

I would just grow out the layers so it looks better curly so you don't have to straighten it every day. Or have less drastic layers...

Go to WalMart and get some rollers ( they sell all kinds, some of them are soft enough you can sleep with them in) and try different styles. Sounds to me like you have a wavy hair cut and you are trying to style your hair as if it were straight.

NO one is happy with their hair...ever!

Well i have layerss too:
You can scrunch it- spray mouse in your hand after your hair is damp (not too damp) and scrunch it to your head. You can tie it in a bun or even curl it.

If you love your hair straight, get a relaxer from a hair dresser so you don't have to do anything to it but brush it. [Relaxer is opposite of perm] Maybe some hair accessories?
