This guy I know will ask me out through e-mail only, never will talk on phone and then when I accept I don't hear from him. Is this just a way of a guy playing games or is he just messed up in the head.

Thus far, I like all your answers, BUT this may surprise you all. He is 45 and studying Psychology for a living. So I am figure he is just playing games with me. What do you think!

You teach people how to treat you. If you're ok with being asked out by email and never spoken to, then he's your man. If you think he's playing games or messed up, stop responding to him. I don't know why you'd even care to figure him out- I'd just ignore him.

Don't waste your time with him. He's probably playing games AND is obviously messed up in the head. Move on to someone you can actually talk to. This guy sounds like an idiot.
*********I just read that you said he's 45. That's even WORSE. I assumed you were talking about a teenager. Something is seriously fishy with this man. STAY AWAY FROM HIM. Boy, age 45 really makes a huge impact on my opinion of this man. He could potentialy be dangerous. maybe that sounds far-fetched...but these are not the actions of a "normal" adult man who has long been set in his ways. Find someone sane! I'm sure his oddness piques your interest more....but seriously, he's weird...and not a good weird. Just be careful!

He is SHY I am exactly the same way but I'm a girl its hard for me to speak over the phone I would rather e-mail or even text to save me from the phone. I am very shy and I am 24 years old I shouldn't be this way because it has caused me to loose a lot of cute men that I met because I get scared and avoid them and then they probably think I'm not interested but I really am.

never meet guys online. If he wont talk on the phone with you it might be a girl or a really immature guy who knows how to type on the computer. You are better than that so find a real man.

Sounds like he's shy or nervous and doesn't have to do deal with anything if its through the internet. So if you reject him online he wouldn't be as saddened as he was if it was done in person...so maybe he feels the same about going out with you. He won't have the pressure, or anything for that matter.

he has a girl friend so he might ask you out but when it comes tothe crunch time he cant commit because something comes up with his missus i would move on and forget about him to many people out on the net like this
