I'm talking about those folks that believe in god's existance, but they don't trust that he saved them from the urge to brake the principles of life (like thou shalt not kill or something). Have you noticed that most people in jail claim to be christians?

The important fact that everyone is missing is that terrorism has existed since man discovered he could make a fist. Terrorism does depend on any religion, country, continent, group of people or one individual. Terrorism only goal is to make terror. The middle east is the home to the three major religions of the world, all sides are guilty when it comes to terror. Ireland was two Christian religions terrorizing each other. The American Indians and the European American people manage to use terror against each other. Even black slavery was supported by black terrorists who captured their own kind to sell. The real issue today is 24 hour news networks. They have to keep the stations on the air. So now we not only get the news, we get a family history, tax records, school records, religious records, driving records, arrest records and so on. This Army Major went off the deep end and tried to kill the world. He was an American who was born in Virginia. He just happened to be Muslim. But being Muslim is not the story, the story is that he went postal or insane and started shooting. I personally do not look at the deeds of the few reflecting on the acts of the many. I cannot blame Islam for terror and I cannot point out anyone to blame for peace. I look at the people former Vice President of the United States Spiro Agnew referred to as the silent majority to step up and be heard. Rather then blame, stand up and stop the terror by not turning a blind eye the real problems of the world. By the way I am Jewish and am proud to call people of all faiths and lack of faiths my friends.

did you know that jesus said one of the most important things to do is visit those in jail and take care of the poor widows?
The urge to break the principles of life will always come and go its called temptation.we all have it from time to time, if not daily. Its knowing that god will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can overcome, and holding on to that promise that many people do not know or understand, and even then the best of us are bound to fail.
Many of the old testament stories are about the sins of gods chosen leaders. pride, murder, adultery and fornication, by moses david, or solomon.
Forgiveness is the key for we have all sinned and fallen short.
So you claim to be a christian too i suppose?

The title is an oxymoron - logically impossible such as red is 13 elms.
"Most people in jail...." Has there been a survey taken.
Claim to be Christians - there are some excellent Prison Ministries helping felons find Jesus.
We who claim to be Christian all fall short of what our faith would ask of us. That is why we need God's salvation which is apart from our deeds and in Jesus.

Christian and infidel are conflicting terms. One cannot be both. There are many who were raised according to their parent's faith, who feel that this makes them a Christian, when that is not the case. Christianity is a PERSONAL, decisive choice on behalf of each individual to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour; not on what church you attended, or whether or not you were baptized as an infant.

I don't know which part of the world you come from because it seems like your part of the world seem to have quite a few bad representatives of Christianity. From where I come from, Christians are real staunch and prison inmates claim to be christians because they are reformed and touched by Christ only when they enter the prison.

Most of the christians in jail converted to christianity after their conviction. Did you notice that there are more muslims than christians in jails? Same thing with most of them.

this is so true, most people in jail claim to be christians. god works in different ways we do not understand. maybe it took a life of crime, for them to find god. maybe this was the path for them. maybe this is what god had planned for them, a plan we do not understand at the time.

i'm not sure you used the right wording there, infidel means someone not of the same faith, like a muslim could call a christian an infidel becuase they are of two differing faiths.other than that, ive never met anyone by your description

Most prisoners never knew about God or had been given a bad image of God. or knew God but feel to worldly desires. All have fallen, no one has never sinned. look what is happening in our schools! Satin is trying to rule this world. and we aren't all in belief of our Lord and Savior enough as humans to to realize God already won the war against satin and satin uses that lack of knowledge against us!!!
