This is a misunderstanding nobody can claim a sole proprietorship on God, God is the common Parent of us all. A person can love God by any name. To be saved, one has to live life free from vices. One has to live the right kind of life to be saved by the God.

Well, this is all about belief !! Both of these people and many others like Prophet Muhammad, Buddah, Prophet Moses all came in this world to speard the light of the love and to direct the human right direction.

The difference is that Prophets Mohammad, Jesus and Moses, David, Ibrahim, Loot, Ismail etc all are from the same family of prophets which is believed by most people in this word, all of them claimed that they were sent by God for the only reason, of preaching the human.

While Buddah guided people to the direction he thought is the best and so did the Guru Nanak, they did not claim that they are prophets from God. Guru Nanak, picked the stuff from Islam and Hiduism and put it together to creat a new religion.

Christianity and Sikhism both believe in the same God that created this universe. Now the difference is that Jesus was sent to earth by this same God as the one true saviour and Guru Nanak; which is a very smart, spiritual man, was not sent by God.

Well, they both can't be right at the same time. There are many differences. One is the true Savior, one is just a man. You will need to personally search for the evidence and make that decision. I would suggest that you read both the Bible and the Janamsakhis to find out.

Jesus was the only one who died and then rose to life after 3 days.

He proved Himself to be exactly who He said He was. He raised the dead, healed the blind and sick and performed incredible miracles.

He appeared to more than 500 witnesses after he had resurrected from the dead and there were eye witnesses to his ascension into heaven. Most people have heard of Jesus Christ. Not many have heard of the other guy. Why? because he wasn't the true saviour of the world. There is only one and the whole world knows of Him.

No one has the right to disrespect what they don't know, making false accusations and claiming false beliefs as real and hurting other peoples feelings. everyone has the right to think what they want but sometimes those views become arrogant biased and unrealistic thoughts.

Every religion is going to believe their own but no one is wrong, god put these people on earth to bring humans closer to him to show love affection and care, to achieve something in life which is divine, instead we like to prove one is better than another, people should be ashamed and learn to respect and practice what god wanted us to know and live by.

different people hold different views and think their religion is the best. but what is to be done is to find a saviour in yourself to save others in their needs, from their troubles. be a blessing to others.there is a song as follows," out in the highways and byways of life, many are weary and sad-- carry the sunshine where darkness is rife--making the sorrowing glad---------". dont live for religions but live for others--- live for mankind.

i don't remember nanak creating the world and universe, setting boundaries that we only end up breaking, and then having him have to pay for our deeds, and promise to come back and give everlasting life to those who believe He loves them, etc. sorry, rambling habits kicked in.
