i have always considered him as my brother and he always thinks of me as his sister but lately weve been like becoming closer and i think he likes me but im afraid to bring up the subject because i dont want to ruin our friendship, and i dont know if he would be interested in me because im a year older than him and i dont know if he would like me for me n for not being a skinny/hott girl which im deffenetly not so i dont know what to do and how to approach it

Well there's probably a reason that he's your best friend. AKA: he does like you as a person. So you've got that down. Now all you have to do is get closer and closer and eventually he'll make the last move to get closer and... BAM!!!

Give him a kiss and see what happens. If he backs away then he probably thinks of you as a sister. If he kisses back then he's interested. Good luck
