You should get him a gift card to some place he really likes or get him a ticket to a foot ball game or something. :)

Well, I guess you could get him a couple of the latest big hit Country & Western albums by one of the current top singers. Or, since you say he likes to travel, what about a really nice leather travel bag to hold his "beauty stuff" - brush, comb, manicure utensils and pockets to hold shaving stuff, aftershave etc. etc. I've seen some really snazzy ones in the stores definitely within your quoted budget. You would probably need to leave him to get anything for his truck, but by way of a little "something extra" along with your gift for him, you could tickle his funny bone by getting a couple of JUMBONE chewy things for the man's "best friend", which would add about ten bucks to your total, but definitely a lot more in brownie points to his heart.

How about a sweatshirt or pullover for his favorite team? Also, Eddie Bauer has some cool unthought-of gadgets and gizmos. My husband's hard to shop for too. Last year we did a simple Christmas, but I got him this neat compass/watch keychain from EB. The year before that I got him a wireless mouse.
It's always hit or miss with guys because they never admit they want anything unless it's a $5000 plasma TV!

well if you say he is a grown man that don't need anything ,then the best thing i can think of is a gift certificate " where you give the money to a store , and they give you a certificate of the money , just like a check" then your bf can buy anything with that money later " sometimes it's valid for one year " . this way he will buy the one thing he might need or love. http://goodmanzone.tripod.com they have some good ideas and they have the gift certificates too.

He sounds VERY active. Maybe you could get him a gift certificate to a store so that he can pick out what he wants himself! Or you could get him something sportsy. (So that's not a word... so what? LOL) Like a football and something to go along with it since he seems to enjoy playing sports.
